11-year-old Dane receives award from President Zelenskyy
On Thursday in Aarhus, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy presented Jens Fogh Thomsen from Biersted in North Jutland with a special award.
The 11-year-old Danish boy is the first foreigner to receive this award.
Since last year he has volunteered to make handmade Easter decorations.
With the sale he has raised over 34,000 ISK for school bags and school supplies for Ukrainian children affected by the war.

Jens Fogh Thomsen is clearly moved as he shakes hands with Zelenskyy and is thanked.
