A Viking with a convincing response

There was a whole boat length difference in the goal, when Klaksvíkingur today washed away the loss at the North Iceland Championship.

After Havnarbáturin won a very much talked about rowing at the North Iceland Championships, a lot has changed two weeks later. Klaksvíkingur got the best start, increased in the middle rowing and this time kept the lead all the way immune until the end, when Havnarbáturin came forward the last part of the course. In the case there was a whole boat length difference between Klaksvíking and Havnarbátin. Norðingur was better in parts of the race, but ended up again this time number three. Norðingur has been injured and had a substitute.

From other races came two other victories for Norðoyggjar. Sundabáturin won in the 6-man men’s category and Fípan Fagra won in the U16 category.
