Árni was sharper than the others

There was only traffic at Djúpumýrar, but most of them could not get the ball into the goal.

The exception was Árni Frederiksberg, who scored three goals on three chances and is therefore ready for the international matches, where KÍ will most likely not create as many chances as this match. For the others, it smelled burnt apart from when defensive midfielder Jákup B. Andreasen scored on his goal opportunity, which was not considered among the big ones in the games. 4-0 to KÍ was the result.

When KÍ is so much better than an opponent like this time, where FC Suðuroy two years ago played in the 2nd division, it is perhaps difficult to set higher demands than to win 4-0. But we didn’t see any floating KÍ attack and many KÍ players can play much better than this. Now the international matches are approaching seriously, and therefore KÍ would probably have had a wish to use the goal opportunities better, because in international matches it is often necessary to be sharp, because one does not get so many goal opportunities. KÍ’s defensive game will be further tested in Sarpugerði on Thursday night, where KÍ has one – on paper – of the most difficult games left in the competition. No suspension and no injury and a solid 4-0 victory can KÍ take from this game, but we did not see KÍ top, as is planned to do in July.
