Harvard accused of violating civil rights

The US government is now officially accusing Harvard University, where the elite attend, of violating civil rights in its treatment of Jewish and Israeli students.

The announcement comes in the wake of an investigation by the Trump administration that concluded the university has not responded adequately to allegations of anti-Semitism on campus.

In a letter to Harvard President Alan Garber, U.S. Justice Department lawyers now warn that the university is in danger of losing all public funding.

This happens if they do not implement sufficient changes.
