It has become five percent more expensive to get food on the table

In the last five years alone, it has become 30 percent more expensive for an ordinary Faroese family to get food on the table.

This is shown by a simulation by Statistics Iceland.

Statistics Iceland says that since last year, prices have not risen as much as they have done in the last four years.

The most noticeable thing for an ordinary household is the prices of food and beverages.

And it is also the prices of food that have risen the most.

Statistics Iceland says that in May this year, prices for food and beverages were slightly five percent higher than a year ago.

But over the past five years, food and beverage prices have risen by almost 30 percent, Statistics Iceland adds.

It is especially meat that is cherished a lot. In the past year alone, meat price increases have been more than ten percent higher than they were a year ago.

Of the meat products, lamb is the most cultivated, but beef is also cultivated. However, the price of fishery products has fallen slightly over the past year.

Prices of tea, coffee, and cocoa have also risen by almost 22 percent over the past year.
