Kristel has released a new single and will be playing on VOX

The singer with the big voice, Kristel Lisberg, released a single called “Say Goodbye” on May 2

This is a very melodic country song, recorded in Nashville.

Together with a visually beautiful video, this song has got a true American country sound.

Sí her Say Goodbye

Country is the genre Kristel has experimented with the most in recent years, although she has also been out in the pop world.

She doesn’t have her talents from strangers either, because her father Jens Lisberg has been active in the Faroese country world.

Kristel has released many songs over the years. She writes many of her songs herself, including the song September which was released in 2016, and is very personal to her.

It is written to her brother, who died in a car accident in 1999, only 19 years old.

Long before, in 2003, she released her first album “Aint No Love” and in 2014 came the song Without You.

She has also released In the lights, Contagious, and newer songs such as the country song Its killing me, which has received many plays at home and on Danish radio.

She then went to Denmark and competed in X-Factor. A few years later, she was invited to participate in the Danish Melody Grand Prix with the song Who Needs a Hearth.

Kristel gained momentum on her music career with even more releases and performances, both in the Faroe Islands and abroad.

Now we get to experience her wonderful voice again in Faroe Islands. She confirmed to several media yesterday that she will perform at this year’s OY Vox.

This latest song Say Goodbye she has written with local songwriters in Nashville, where she also records music.

Kristel herself says that there should be more room for country. That country is cool and more than people often think. It’s a genre that’s always evolving.

Kristel also reveals something else we can look forward to. Another single is on the way.

-It will be released soon, says Kristel at the end.
