French President Emmanuel Macron warned on Tuesday against trying to bring down the Iranian government by force.
He said that “the biggest mistake would have been to use military attacks to change the system, because then it would have created chaos”.
Macron’s statements came as Iranians fled Tehran en masse on Tuesday, with calls for a ceasefire on Thursday from both sides.
