NATO committed to helping Ukraine
The entire NATO – including the US – is fully committed to helping Ukraine take up the fight against Russia.
This is what NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said in an interview with Reuters after the NATO summit in The Hague.
In addition, he says that no one in NATO is naive towards Russia, and that all NATO member states “more or less have the same assessment” on that issue.
After the NATO summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Council of Europe in Strasbourg to sign a historic agreement with Council Secretary General Alain Berset. It writes Reuters.
The agreement will ensure the establishment of a special court to investigate and prosecute Russian leaders, military commanders and their allies for war crimes committed in Ukraine.
