Taks has made corrections for a good 291 million ISK and that is the highest ever. It goes both ways, but the result is that the national treasury gets an additional ISK 82 million in tax revenue.

Of the 291 million for which adjustments are made, the bulk, or 272 million, comes from companies.

Therefore, the following corrections have been made

– 109 million in income tax

– 96 million in capital gains tax

– 60 million in fishing rights tax

· 7 million in taxes

In the case of individuals, corrections were made for a good 19 million ISK.

– 8.7 million in income tax

– 8.9 million in capital gains tax

– 1.5 million in interest rate and travel rate

The CEO also says that the last few years have shown that individual controls can have a big impact, and last year was no exception.
