    North Atlantic Camp usually in Iceland

    Yesterday a group of 11 U15 and U17 badminton players went to Akranes in Iceland for the North Atlantic Camp badminton camp. The participants are U15 and U17 badminton players from Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland. This has been a recurring event for many years, which was resumed last year.

     

    After the camp was canceled by the coronavirus pandemic, we started again in 2024, when the camp was in the Faroe Islands. The camp is sponsored by Badminton Europe.

    This year there are a total of 31 players, 11 from the Faroe Islands, 10 from Iceland and 10 from Greenland.

    The head coach of the camp is Pontus Rydström, and he has 2 coaches from each country.
