Patrik has been flying

The KÍ player was the best last month.

FSF writes:

With ten goals in the national championship, and one of the big profiles of KÍ so far this year, Patrik Johannesen has been flying in the men’s Betrideidin the last rounds

– This was a wonderful honor to receive. But it has also gone well so far this year. We are number 1 in the national championship, and have something more than the other leg in the cup final.

This is what Patrik Johannesen from KÍ says, who has so far scored 10 goals in the first thirteen rounds of the Betrideildin, and who on Saturday, before the match at Dungasandur between 07 Vestur and KÍ, received the award as the best player in May.

It is national team coaches, media and football commentators who vote, and when counted for May, the midfielder in Klaksvík had received the most votes. He was followed by Sammy Skytte and Heini Fossdalsá Sørensen from HB.

It was Patrik’s parents, Heidi and Jón Johannesen – Jón was for many years one of the driving forces in TB – who on behalf of the Football Association of Iceland presented their son with a gift certificate from Hotel Brandan, and a glass plate donated by the FSF.
