Public meeting on Bornholm: The Commonwealth on the shore

The Bornholm 2025 public meeting is back.

The People’s Meeting is a recurring event where politicians, parties, companies, associations, etc., meet for interviews, debates and other interesting and informative events. There are about 1000 events a day, the three days the People’s Meeting is on Bornholm.

Among the participants were Sjúrður Skaale, MP for the Liberal Party, and Heini í Skorini, lecturer at the National Academy of Sciences of Iceland. Kristina Háfoss, President of the Nordic Council, was also present.

The constitutional situation of the Faroe Islands and Greenland is currently a hot topic in Denmark, and this was reflected in the agenda at this year’s public meeting.

The MP for the Liberal Party participated, among other things, in a podcast by DR and Altinget, in an interview with DR journalist Anna Ingrisch together with her Greenlandic colleague Aaja Chemnitz and in an event by Open Doors on religious freedom.

Heini í Skorini participated in events on the Commonwealth and the superpowers, freedom of speech and the Commonwealth in a geopolitical world, together with Sjúrður Skaale and Aaja Chemnitz.

This was the fourteenth time that the People’s Meeting on Bornholm was held, and the weather was the most beautiful all day.
