Several countries condemn Iran’s attack

Denmark does not have so many troops in Qatar.

Those who are there are doing well, the Danish army announced in a post Monday night on social media X.

– The defense is constantly monitoring the situation and has nothing further to add, says the post.

A number of countries have condemned Iran’s attack on the Al-Udeid military base in Qatar, including several countries in the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia calls it a clear violation of international law and the principles of good neighbourliness.

Almost the same wording also comes from Bahrain. The United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon and Oman also condemned the attack and the escalation of the conflict in the region.

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen also condemned the attack on Monday.

French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a return to diplomacy and an end to the “spiral of chaos”.
