South Korea bans dog meat

1,000 dog farms in South Korea will be closed by 2027 – a historic victory for the dogs that Anima has been fighting for for years, with the help of donors.

Anima writes

-To say thank you, we visited the South Korean embassy with a special gift, from the four-legged friends of our members.

A symbol of the millions of dogs who are now being spared a terrible life.

This would not have been possible without the tireless help of donors.

And it shows how we can create change for animals when we stand together.

But there are still dogs that need help. In a few days, the infamous dog meat festival in Yulin begins, where thousands of dogs are brutally slaughtered.

And in China, pets, both dogs and cats, are stolen and beaten to death before you eat them.

If you have the desire and opportunity to help the dogs in Yulin, and want to put an end to dog meat, you can go to anima.dk/yulin and put your signature.
