The bronze medal match will be broadcast on Icelandic National Broadcasting Service
Hanus Samró wrote this on Facebook this evening:
The Faroese handball boys have not only written world history, but they have written themselves in the Faroese hearts with fast, technical and fascinating handball.
Unfortunately, not everyone had the opportunity to see the particularly exciting and historic semifinal against Portugal on Friday night, because the match had to be purchased through the website of Solidsport.
Because Kringvarpið does not have the rights to the U-21 handball matches, money was raised so that the historic bronze medal match against Sweden on Sunday could be broadcast on Kringvarpið.
The funding is in place. There are 29 companies and 5 municipalities that have taken steps to support the historic bronze medal match.
Now only the technical part is missing, but it is expected to be fixed soon. As the situation is now, there are many indications that the historic bronze medal match against Sweden will be broadcast on Icelandic National Broadcasting.
To the joy and benefit of all Faroese
