The Colitis-Crohn Society is offering a free conference
Unfortunately, the Faroe Islands have a world record in the incidence of intestinal inflammatory diseases, and one of them is Colitis-Crohn.
Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease.
The disease was first described by American physician Burrill B. Crohn in 1932, hence the name.
The disease can occur anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract, and symptoms usually include abdominal discomfort and diarrhea, as well as weight loss, fever and fatigue.
The Colitis-Crohn Association invites you to a free conference on intestinal burns on Monday 16 June at 10 am. 10.00-16.30. There will be various experts such as people from the MiGut project.
The event takes place in the Maritime House Kongshøll, where both Faroese and foreign scientists will talk.
For the same reason, the conference will be held in English.
Here you can take the opportunity to ask experts about everything within these diseases.
