The entire royal family passed away yesterday.
Now it will not be long before the Royal Couple begins their public visit to the Faroe Islands.
Although it is said that they have already arrived in the country, the interesting program starts tomorrow at. 09.00.
They will travel around and visit different places, both together and separately.
Here is the list of the Congressional Scholars
Whether one is a royalist or not, there is little doubt that it is an active couple who last year took over the throne from Queen Margrethe.
Yesterday they both, as well as their four children participated in the “Royal Run”
The event was first held in 2018. It was in connection with the 50th birthday of Frederick, who was then Prince. He invented it himself.
In 2020, the Royal Run had to be canceled due to Covid, but it has been very popular all these years, also in the Faroe Islands.
Fríðrikur came to Klaksvík with the “Royal Run” in 2019, but could not run himself. He was struggling with a disc prolapse at the time, but he kept up with the bike.
Yesterday it happened again in 5 Danish cities. It was sold out everywhere and the tracks to choose from were as always:
1 mile, called the “Family Mile”, 5 km and 10 km, which everyone can walk or run.
H.M. King Frederick started the day in Ribe where he ran a mile.
After Ribe he went to Horsens, where he ran 5 km.
He then ended the day by running 10 km in Copenhagen/Fríðriksberg.
Queen Mary was in Korsør, where she ran 5 km.
Crown Prince Christian, ran with friends from the army in Viborg. There he ran the 5 km race.
The other children, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine, were not on the list, but they were all surprised when they stood at the starting line.
Princess Isabella, along with Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, ran the “Family Mile”
Princess Josephine ran three times. Once each way.
