In the attack, the brainstorming was great, and the Faroes scored 19 goals before half-time.
In the first minute after the break, Slovenia reduced the difference to three goals, and it disturbed the attack, when they defended Óla Mittún. But then others took responsibility in the attack. Captain Ísak Vedelsbøl was the top scorer with 10 goals, and in five of the cases it was from free kicks that he scored.
Especially well managed to play Niklas Gaard loose on the right wing, and he was very confident and scored five goals.
In addition to defending Óli Mittún, the opponents tried a very offensive defense, when time began to run out, and so the Faroese lead decreased. Then Sasha saved three times, and it was crucial.
