The home team won 17-3.

Now there is only one round left, before the best national championship goes into summer vacation. The round will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

On Thursday there will be a neighborhood match in Sarpugerði in Gota, where KÍ will be a guest. The fact that this match will be played on Thursday is due to the fact that Víkingur will play in the European Championship on Tuesday next week.

This weekend all the home teams won favorite victories. In any case, it was a triumphant victory. The exception was in Gota, where it ended 2-1 to Víkingur against B68, which narrowed the difference when the regular season was over, and which had a chance to equalize, but the national team goalkeeper in the goal of Víkingur saved.

KÍ won a thrilling 4-0 home victory without the football game being anything to cheer for. How well Víkingur and KÍ are ready to go into European challenges will be known more on Thursday, when Víkingur receives a visit from KÍ. If any team is to do anything against the FM favorites in Klaksvík, it should be the champions in Sarpugerði. That Víkingur is better off than the team has been for a long time was seen today. From the first whistle, Ragnar Skála, Aron Jarnskor Ellingsgaard and Jákup Johansen, all of whom have experience playing in the front row, were on the bench.

Klæmint A. Olsen scored a hat-trick when NSÍ won 4-0 at home against EB/Streymur. It’s been a long time since Klæmint has done as well as he does now. That NSÍ has crew challenges was seen today. In addition to the substitute goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach Símun Rógvi Hansen, there were only four players on the bench. Among these was the new defender Daniel Obbekjær, who was substituted in the middle of the second half, and who immediately showed such authority that he will undoubtedly be among the top eleven when NSÍ plays in Trongisvágur on Saturday.

With the 4-0 loss in Runavík, EB/Streymur lost the competition for fourth place. On Saturday EB/Streymur will play away against B68, who today lost 2-1 in Gota. Today’s loss means that B68 is now seven points from fourth place, which Toftamenn dream of competing for.

With a 4-1 home win against TB, HB strengthened its position as the main challenger to the sovereign top team in Klaksvík.

There are nine points from KÍ and back to HB. There is a possibility that the difference will be both larger and smaller when the competition goes into summer vacation. On Sunday there will be a neighborhood match in Gundadali. If HB wins against B36, and KÍ does not win in Gota, the difference will be six or seven points, when it will again be competing in the national championship on Olavsøkan.

B36 won the first neighborhood match earlier this year. If the club of the year manages to win the neighborhood match, and if KÍ wins in Gota at the same time, B36 will strengthen its position in the competition for fourth place. While KÍ, NSÍ, Víkingur and HB have Europe to think about, B36’s task after next weekend will be to prepare for the second half. The first game after the summer break will be when B36 visit TB on Easter Eve.

07 Vestur, TB and FC Suðuroy are in competition to avoid relegation. What all the clubs have in common is that they will be working on developing a new team. So far this year it has looked really difficult for TB. On Saturday, TB played a long game in Gundadali, where there were three minutes left of regular time, when HB took the lead 2-1. In the competition to avoid relegation will be a key match on Saturday, when FC Suðuroy receives a visit from 07 Vestur.
