Today, Sirið Stenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Labor, met with Niels Winther, Director of Vinnuhúsinn, and Jógvan Hansen, Chairman of the Ráfiskakeyparafelagnum to discuss the land grant from Brazil.

Bárður Enni, director of the Health Science Center, reported on the wider access. There are still a few steps left, but it is expected that the export will begin in the fall.

The labor commissioners were delighted with the land grant and the labor is excited about being able to undertake projects to export salted fish to Brazil.

Both sides agreed to begin preparations for a business trip to Brazil next spring with the participation of the Prime Minister and representatives of the industry.
