Trump and Musk in open war on social media

Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the leader of the world’s richest country, found themselves working together with the world’s richest person. It seemed like a perfect match.

But in the last 10 days, the two have moved from a gentle disagreement to a bitter rage.

In an interview with CBS News on May 28, Musk criticized Trump’s plans for a new tax and spending bill.

He said the proposed legislation made him “disappointed” and feels that Trump is undermining the great work that DOGE has accomplished.

DOGE is the group of computer geniuses that Musk has had with him to expose bribery in the US public sector.

Trump later admits to reporters that he is not happy with certain aspects of the bill, while he is excited about some issues, such as tax cuts.

On May 29, Musk announces that he is leaving the Trump administration because his term as special secretary has come to an end.

The next day, Trump praised Musk when he pointed to what looked like a blue eye. He looks like he’s got one in front of him, at his last day at the White House.

Musk is not really leaving, the president said, he will continue to be “back and forth” here in the White House. He continued.

They have since quarreled for several days on the media X and Truth Social and on June 5 Trump wrote that Musk had become too busy, so he asked him to leave the White House. He thinks Musk has lost both his mind and his understanding.

Musk says, without providing evidence, that Trump is in the “Epstein files,” referring to court documents and evidence collected by investigators from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The latest in this open war is that Trump repeats that he thinks Musk has lost his mind and understanding, and says he is not particularly interested in talking to him.

Elon Musk began a survey on his X profile on Thursday. Here he asked his 220.8 million followers if the time has not come for a new political party in the US. A party that “actually represents the 80 percent in the middle?” as he puts it.

The vote is now over and the result was that 80.4 percent agree with Musk that the US needs a new party.
