Suðuroyar Sparikassi lowers interest rates

Last week, the Danish Central Bank lowered its key interest rate by 0.25% points.  

This means that Suðuroyar Sparikassi will also lower its interest rates. This applies to both private and business customers, and in practice the following changes are:

• Lending rates will fall by up to 0.25% points. 

• Deposit rates will also be reduced by up to 0.25 percentage points.

The changes will come into effect on July 15, 2025.
