Two-year fundraising drive to help flood victims

Nine-year-old twins Corrigan and Cannon Camp set up a lemonade stand on Sunday.

They did this to help the victims of the devastating floods in Texas at the weekend.

The death toll has risen to 91.

At the twins’ booth, they sold lemonade and cookies, raising more than $5,000 to rebuild Camp Mystic.

This is one of the places that was hardest hit by this disaster. 27 girls and helpers at the camp, were taken by the terrible flood.

One of the twins, Corrigan Camp, came home from summer camp Camp Mystic a few weeks ago.

That’s why she’s also happy that she can now donate money to the camp, writes NBC.

– It made me feel good that we donated the money to the summer camp.

I feel that many people are becoming interested in Camp Mystic and how destroyed the camp is, she says.
