Kristian Krog Hentze: A New Voice for Sandur in Parliament

In a notable development for the People’s Party, Kristian Krog Hentze of Sandur has made his entrance into parliament, marking a significant milestone as the first Sandvíkingur to take on this role in many years.

At just 24 years old, Hentze secured 297 votes during the recent elections, earning him the position as the 12th candidate on the People’s Party list.

“It’s a completely different experience being a member of parliament compared to being a builder,” Hentze remarked, reflecting on the transition from his studies in carpentry to the political arena.

For those interested in hearing more about his journey, you can catch a feature on Hoyr in the radio news.

As the sole representative from Sandoy in the Faroese Parliament, Hentze’s ascendance promises to bring a fresh perspective to legislative discussions.
