Urgent Warning: Asbestos Found in Popular Fidget Toys
The Danish Environmental Protection Agency has initiated a significant recall of several fidget toys, commonly referred to as stretch toys, due to the alarming discovery of asbestos in their filling.
In a recent press release, the agency reported receiving multiple confirmations from various companies regarding the presence of this hazardous material in specific toy models. Among those being withdrawn from the market are well-known names such as Stretcherz Slammerz, Stretcherz Stretch Squad XXL, and Pufferz YoYo.
The implicated products come from manufacturers Toi-Toyz, HTI Group, and Toys Amsterdam. While it remains uncertain whether these toys are available in the Faroe Islands, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency is urging consumers to dispose of them responsibly to ensure safety.
