    Dalstunnilin Now Open for Public Travel

    Today marks a significant milestone as Dalstunnilin officially opens its doors for general travel, coinciding with a warm and sunny afternoon in Dali. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as local dignitaries, including the national director for transport and the mayor of Húsavíkar municipality, celebrated the achievement, donning their shoelaces tied in unity as the tunnel was unveiled.

    On this notable occasion, Henrik Old, the former national leader in transport matters, along with Sigurd Ó. Vang, head of the project planning department at Landsverk, shared in the joy of this momentous day.
