Harry Kane’s Record-Breaking Run Continues at Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has been a force of nature since joining Bayern Munich, shattering numerous records in just three spectacular seasons. As he gears up for his next Bundesliga match, the England captain stands on the brink of yet another achievement.
With 98 goals to his name in a mere 95 league appearances, Kane is just two strikes away from reaching the coveted 100-goal milestone in Germany’s top flight. Remarkably, he has achieved this scoring feat faster than any player in Bundesliga history. The previous record-holder, Dieter Müller, needed 123 matches to net 95 goals during his time with Cologne.
Müller reached the century mark a mere six games later, but should Kane score two goals against newly-promoted Schalke on September 5, he would accomplish the milestone in just 96 matches—33 games, nearly an entire season, quicker than Müller.
Kane is well aware that the law of averages favors him. Since his arrival in 2023, he has struck once every 78.5 minutes, surpassing the rates of luminaries like Erling Haaland (87 minutes), Robert Lewandowski (100 minutes), and Gerd Müller (105 minutes).
While Kane has yet to face Schalke or Bundesliga newcomers Elversberg, both teams will not take lightly his impressive record: he has scored against all 20 clubs he has encountered in the league.
Kane is poised to claim a fourth consecutive top-scorer cannon in the current season. With an impressive tally of 148 goals in 150 appearances for Bayern—61 of which came in just 51 games last season—he stands a solid chance of reaching a double century before the conclusion of the 2026/27 campaign.
Regardless of whether he achieves this 100-goal milestone in the coming weeks, it is clear that Kane and his Bayern teammates are set for what promises to be another memorable season.
