The threat landscape in the Faroe Islands remains stable and notably less severe than in Denmark. Recent hybrid attacks on Danish soil have primarily focused on companies manufacturing military equipment, as confirmed by Bárður á Steig Nielsen, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Fisheries.
Nielsen recognizes, however, that the specter of hybrid warfare is drawing nearer. He notes that global insecurity has escalated compared to the relatively stable years following the Cold War.
