The Olympic gold medalist is setting her sights on breaking Jarmila Kratochvilova’s long-standing outdoor 800m record this summer, and the improvement in her 400m time signals her readiness for the challenge ahead. Compatriot Amber Anning, a fellow British runner, secured fifth place with a commendable time of 50.19 seconds at the iconic Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Molly Caudery, a two-time world indoor champion, captured the pole vault title with a season-best jump of 4.80m. Adding to the excitement of the event, Georgia Hunter Bell topped the women’s 1500m with an impressive time of 3:58.63.
