However, a glimmer of hope is on the horizon. In January, the University of Iceland will launch a new part-time program, the Diploma in Education, designed specifically for educational assistants currently engaged in the academic field. The center anticipates that this initiative will provide a much-needed boost to pedagogy as it takes off.
Sonja Olsen, a lecturer and PhD candidate, emphasizes that this Serbo-Croatian education program has been carefully tailored for the unique conditions of the Faroe Islands.
