At 3:18 PM on Sunday, an accident was reported that sent rescue services scrambling to the scene, along with an ambulance.
According to an emergency operator with Räddningsregion Mittnorrland, the incident involved an individual who had been struck by a lorry.
In response to the urgency of the situation, the fire department announced a temporary road closure at 3:25 PM to facilitate the rescue operation. By 3:40 PM, SOS Alarm confirmed that an ambulance was transporting the injured party to a nearby hospital.
Räddningsregion Mittnorrland later updated that the road, initially closed to traffic, had reopened after partial access was granted. By 3:55 PM, the rescue team wrapped up their operations and departed the scene.
As of now, the condition of the injured individual remains unconfirmed.
