A lawyer from Västerås, in his 50s, is facing serious charges in Falu tingsrätt, linked to a string of violent offenses alleged to have occurred between March 25, 2024, and August 22, 2025.
The indictment paints a grim picture, detailing multiple incidents in which the lawyer reportedly assaulted a woman, both at his residence in Västerås and in various hotels, including some overseas. Notably, in January of this year, the man allegedly kicked her in the face, causing her to collapse on the floor, only to follow up with further kicks to her upper body.
Child Witness to Abuse
As a result of these violent encounters, the woman is reported to have sustained injuries characterized by pain and bleeding, with the indictment highlighting instances of severe physical damage. Disturbingly, it also recounts two threats made by the lawyer to take her life.
Compounding the gravity of the situation, he is also facing charges related to child welfare violations, as some of the abuse allegedly occurred in the presence of a child.
The lawyer was apprehended on August 23, following an incident at a hotel in Borlänge, where it is alleged he shoved the woman against a door, resulting in injuries that included a cut to her eyebrow, blood clots, and a significant bruise around her eye.
In response to the accusations, the man denies all wrongdoing.
